A Job in 6 Months?

July 12, 2003 · 1 minute read

Graduation is suppose to be a time of celebration and joy, instead I fear the day I walk from the University for the last time. The economy is in a slump, interest rates are at a 50 year low. That’s good for the people who have money. For us college students, who have loans outstanding it’s going to be a living hell, a combat zone. On top of everything else the University I attend is talking about a 30 percent tutition hike. This is on top of the 10 percent it was raised last semester.

I woke up this morning only to face more bad news, companies are outsourcing tech jobs over seas. Can it get any worse? Will I have to settle for a medial data entry job? I’ll tell you in 6 months… Until then I am trying to keep a positive outlook.
