Halloween down – Thanksgiving and Christmas Left

Now that Halloween is over, we’ve entered into the holiday season. I found myself wondering what I was doing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the past I have thought of Thanksgiving as more of a reason to overeat than to give thanks. Christmas has brought on a similar meaning.

This season I will most likely travel an hour or so up to the annual Thanksgiving dinner with my dad’s side of the family. A great group of people – wish I spent more time with them. For Christmas, nothing is set in stone but plans are to head to Alaska and spend time with my mother and company. This could be the last year that I do either so I might as well enjoy the time with my extended family while I can.
