P2P Encryption
Encrypted p2p networks are on the horizon. It was only a matter of time when RIAA started sueing music lovers for sharing their collections that a means of securing anonymity on the networks was devised. Blobster in the UK is currently testing p2p clients that would ad encryption to the p2p network along with adding a technology to help identify bad files. More can be read here.
This reminds me of Clay Shirky’s article about RIAA’s suing rampage making common users aware of the need to encrypt their machines to insure anonymity and protect private information.
