A Reflection of Yourself
It’s not how you treat people that matters, but how you feel about the way you treat people. It’s a reflection of how you feel about yourself.
I said that in an e-mail to Jon. I didn’t even know what I had said, until Jon pointed it out.
Everything someone says to other has nothing to do with the other. It has everything to do with the person who said it. The other person has the choice of making his or her own (and most people do). It’s taken me a while to figure this out. It even takes longer to put this in practice.
We take in what the other person says as gospel: good and bad. Most people go around pissed at someone for making them mad. In reality you are mad at yourself for letting yourself get mad.
