Office 2007 vs. Office 2003

I love it. It’s a great product. The biggest change is the “ribbon.” Many people have voiced the same frustration I had: It’s takes time to get use to. Once you figure it out, wow. It’s nice.

Yesterday I had to uninstall it reverting back to Office 2003. Office 2007 takes too many resources. My computer came to a crawl with Office 2007 installed. Another thing I noticed was in Office 2007 I only saw my top level contacts. I like to have my contacts categorized in sub groups. All those groups were missing in Office 2007. I thought maybe Office 2007 did something to the pst file. However, when I opened the pst file in Office 2003 they were there again – Not really sure what’s going on. I hope they have it fixed in the RTM.

If you have the horsepower to run Office 2007, I highly recommend it.
